We are a global organization helping people in over 18 countries find connection and participate in athletic programs. We have many programs such as the Achilles Freedom Team serving wounded veterans, Achilles kids helping children with disabilities train and participate in races, TriAchilles team which expands into swimming and cycling and our signature Hope & Possibility Race which happens in many cities worldwide.
The Adaptive Program for runners provides support for those with intellectual, visual, or physical impairments in order for them to participate in the Boston marathon. There are qualifications that must be met.
Those with a visual impairment may have up to 2 guide runners with them on the marathon course
Those with physical or intellectual impairments are allowed 1 support runner on the marathon course

The United States Association of Blind Athletes empowers Americans who are blind and visually impaired to experience life-changing opportunities in sports, recreation and physical activities, thereby educating and inspiring the nation.

The have activities such as kayaking, hiking, rock climbing, and skiing for participants of all experience levels. Each activity is guided by trained volunteers and staff, dedicated to ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and empowering experience for all.

Tucson, Az
The University of Arizona offers 7 competitive adaptive athletic teams. They are open to students as well as community members. The teams are very competitive and coaching staff will deem eligibility and national standards for classification need to be met as well. There are also scholarships available for students.

Non-profit organization that provides sports and recreational activities for people with disabilities. Based in Mesa but allows people from all over the state to join. It provides sports training and competition year round.

Chandler, Az
The Adaptive recreation program provides opportunities that welcome children and their families of all abilities. It has a variety of activities and events that encourage participants to engage in activities that promote socialization, skill development, and physical activity. From arts and crafts to cooking to social outings there’s always fun for everyone.

Glendale, Az
Periodic recreation programs for youth and adults with special needs (physical, mental, emotional or social disabilities) are offered through the City of Glendale. There is bowling, swimming, dances, field trips and more. Make sure to check the website for which program is available today. Also supports Special Olympics Softball & Challenger Little League with City of Peoria.

The City of Phoenix Adaptive Recreation Program offers safe, inclusive, and accessible recreational opportunities for all abilities; empowering individuals to lead meaningful lives and create a welcoming environment of acceptance and belonging.
Telephone Pioneers of America Park features two beep-baseball fields (for visually impaired), therapeutic heated pool, wheelchair-accessible playground, 18-station exercise course, racquetball, volleyball, tennis, basketball, shuffleboard.

Adaptive Recreation provides fun, safe and meaningful social and recreational opportunities for participants with neuro and physical diversities. Using art, dance, music, life skills, recreation, and sports, the team provides opportunities to grow physically, emotionally, cognitively and socially.

The Adaptive Recreation program is for youth and adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Programs include bowling league, Camp Challenge, Friday night social activities, LEAP afterschool program, recreation classes, Special Olympics (City of Tempe delegation).

The Sports, Habilitation, Art & Recreation Program (SHARP) is an open-entry, open-exit program for blind and visually impaired school age children. This program is held on Saturdays during the school year and each week there is a different activity, such as goalball, beep baseball, cooking, art, fitness and more. The program provides multiple opportunities for blind and visually impaired children to develop hobbies, friends, interests and independence.

Flagstaff, Az
High Country Adaptive Sports is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2015 by a passionate group of outdoor enthusiasts who recognized a barrier to entry for people with disabilities when it came to experiencing Arizona’s mountains, forests, and waterways. They believe that regardless of physical or cognitive challenges everyone benefits from outdoor recreational activities. They offer year-round activities such as hiking, kayaking, rock climbing, mountain biking, and snow sports.

Scottsdale, Az
Provides a safe, successful and enjoyable baseball experience for children, teens and adults with disabilities or special needs. Ages 4 and older are placed in a league based on age and skill level and are matched with “buddies” (one-on-one friends/helpers).

Southern Arizona Adaptive Sports, strives to create opportunities for individuals with disabilities to engage in recreational and competitive sports. Their mission is to support the community through promotion and provision of fitness, recreation, and competitive sports opportunities for people with disabilities.
